We’re thrilled to announce that we’re partnering with LaunchHOLLYSPRINGS (LHS) to amplify the voices, stories, and successes of Holly Springs entrepreneurs. Through an in-kind partnership, Brighter Messaging will help LHS share its impact, celebrate its alumni, and expand awareness of the resources available to the local small business community.
Founded in 2018, LaunchHOLLYSPRINGS is dedicated to helping low-resource entrepreneurs turn ideas into successful businesses. Cohort members complete a 10-week classroom program, which is followed by six months of one-on-one mentoring with a successful business owner. LHS’ unique approach combines practical learning, accountability, mentorship, and a supportive community to help entrepreneurs succeed.
Since its inception, LHS has served over 150 local entrepreneurs across a wide array of industries, from coaching, art, and handmade goods to tech solutions, home improvements, and wellness services. With Holly Springs’ population surpassing 50,000 people and a median household income above $153,000, the town represents a rapidly growing and prosperous community. It’s also one of the most entrepreneurial towns in Wake County.
“Our mission is to equip entrepreneurs with the skills, mentorship, and confidence they need to succeed, which in turn strengthens our community and local economy,” said Bob Shimmel, LHS program manager and facilitator. “Partnering with Brighter Messaging allows us to reach more people, celebrate the achievements of our graduates, and show the broader Holly Springs community the real impact of supporting small businesses.”
